Mountain Bike from the Mountain to the Beach - All downhill

​

Duration: 3 - 4 hours - Feel free to stop any time to rest, enjoy, ask questions, or snap pictures. Take your time!

 

You will see no other tourists on this ride : ) 

​

Explore the local countryside by bike, pass local villages, Temples & rice paddies on small safe country roads, stop at a local Warung (snack/ coffee house), then ride on the flat for another 35 minutes through the largest rice paddies in Bali and

then find yourself at the beach.

Have a stroll on the beach or a swim ( this is a surf beach, so close to shore swimming only), or visit  the temple by the ocean.

Be alert for little village kids waving to you and practicing their English!

The lodge will have a car ready to bring  you back when you are ready.

The Road:

 

Small and safe country road, local traffic only.

 

The road is asphalt in some parts broken.

 

Shaded by trees for several kms. 

 

Most of the time is downhill – only a few stretches up.

all their lives. They have a wealth of local knowledge to share with you.

Transfer back to the lodge:

Don’t worry! Our driver will be waiting for you at the beach, and will bring you and the bikes back.

Just sit back and relax! (approx 45 minutes).

 

Mountain bike experience needed.

The course is mostly downhill. You don’t need be in great shape to make it. But it requires some bike experience: using

back &  front brakes down the hill, switching gears, concentration. Not suitable for children under 15 years.
